The vision of WholeFIT is to become a leader in training, education and practice of patient-centered, collaborative healthcare as we seek to improve our ability to help individuals and families become healthy and well by tapping into the natural strengths of each of us and considering all factors that impact our wellness including fitness, nutrition, physical health, mental health, behavioral health, relationships, spirituality, and life balance.
The mission of WholeFIT is to utilize evidence-based practice and practice-based evidence to inform a systemic, collaborative approach to helping individuals and families become healthy and well relying heavily on principles related to patient-centered medicine, collaborative healthcare, motivational interviewing, human systems theory, attachment theory and ecological systems theory.
MEET OUR FOUNDERS

Jared DuPree, PhD, MBA, LMFT

Michael Olson, PhD, LMFT
Michael earned a Ph.D. from Kansas State University in Family Therapy followed by a Post-doctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at the University of Texas-Medical Branch (UTMB). He currently is the Director of Behavioral Medicine and a Family Medicine Faculty Member (UTMB). He is considered a national expert in motivational interviewing, chronic illness, individual/family care, and collaborative care models. He is the co-founder of WholeFIT and the Center for Couples & Families.
